With this Christmas looking a little different to usual, we’re urging you to check in on your elderly or vulnerable neighbours this festive period.
To help give you some ideas of how you can help out in your local community, we’ve published our Christmas Caring Guide below. These are our top tips to support anyone who may need a little extra help.
Anyone deciding to help friends or neighbours must, of course, adhere to Government safety regulations and procedures and never unnecessarily put themselves or others at risk.
“We’re all about caring here at Abney & Baker, it’s what we do best. This festive period will be unlike others and many members of our communities will be alone and isolated, away from family and loved ones this year. We know from working with our own clients that personal contact and a friendly face can make all the difference to someone’s day.
Christmas is a time for giving and sharing so we’re urging people to take some time out to check in on those that may need a little extra help this festive season. Hopefully, our Christmas Caring Guide will help spread some Yuletide cheer!”
